One of West Sweden's main tasks is to contribute to the development of the West Sweden Region through EU-funded projects. West Sweden works closely with the municipalities and regions, providing support and coordination throughout the project development process, from the initial idea to the finished application.
West Sweden's project development activities has during the last four years brought € 6 250 000 to the region. The total budget for projects approved in 2006 was over € 3 500 000, with close to € 800 000 going to West Sweden members.
